FUNERAL PLANS
Livestock Benefit Plan
Our Livestock Benefit Plan consists of a Funeral Top-up Benefit where you take a policy that will pay livestock at the time of claim. In an African tradition during a send off of a loved one or a burial livestock (either a cow or goat) will have to be slaughtered. When you take Livestock Benefit Plan at a time of claim, which will happen when the insured member passes on you will be paid in livestock or in cash.
We are your partner right there. We help our clients to ensure that they have a choice of their livestock (cattle or goat) during their time of need. With the benefit plan you choose, you secure a guarantee that at the time of need, you will get your livestock as per the policy benefit payout without any delay. If you need, your claim will be paid out in cash instead of a livestock item.
Grocery Benefit Plan
Imagine if you have the groceries for the ceremony to send off the loved one and a burial secured and waiting for you to pick it up. Where you will need some groceries in bulk and at a wholesale price, the is no need to go further.
At the time of claim, you have the option of choosing your preferred grocery items as per your need to the amount of the Benefit Plan or you can claim your benefit is cash, paid to the bank account of the nominated beneficiary.

Dignified Funeral Plans
Nothing can ever prepare a family or an individual for the loss of a loved one. To ensure that we make the wishes of our clients and policyholders to be fulfilled, we have partnered with well-known funeral parlours. This partnership ensures that at the time of claim, the client can decide whether to be paid in cash or choose one of the affordable burial packages to ensure a dignified funeral for a loved one.
Repatriation
Are you aware of what are the costs involved in transporting the body of a deceased family member or a loved one? For most of us, it only dawns on us when we realise that life can be lost anywhere, and burial will have to take place at the place of choice. If a loved one passes on away from the place of burial, repatriation might be the first thing that needs to be done as the family often wants the Deceased to be buried in their homeland.
Through this service, we will cover the cost of transportation of the body or the remains of the deceased from 100 km to a maximum of 2 630. We also provide one night of accommodation for a relative accompanying the deceased or mortal remains. The maximum accommodation payable is R500.00 for a single relative
Congregation and Societies
Large Groups and Congregation
Members of your Large Group or Church Congregation can have Dignity Funeral Benefit Plans, bringing peace of mind to all members by knowing very well that their future needs are taken care of. To qualify for the Dignity Funeral Benefit Plans, you need to be a member of a Group or Congregation that has registered with Zooks Financial Services. Our Benefit Plans cater to Single Members, Single Members with Dependents, as well as Family Plans with up to 6 Dependents. At the time of claim, members can choose to be paid in stock items (grocery or livestock) or in cash.
Society Groups and Stokvels
We will help your Society Group and Stokvel Top up Funeral Benefit Plans, bringing peace of mind to all members by knowing very well that their future needs are taken care of. We will supply groceries and or livestock in the time of need, and during a difficult time as we send off our loved ones.
